Dr. 洋子巴巴, originally from Japan, obtained her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University 俄克拉何马州的. She has been at San José State University since 1990. 在加入 菠菜网lol正规平台’s Justice Studies Department in 2011, she was a professor in the sociology department. Dr. Baba’s research interests are in the areas of Criminology, 暴力 in the Family, Neighborhood 安全, and Japanese-Brazilian Communities in Japan and Brazil. 一些 of her research was published in 暴力 Against Women, Journal of Ethnic and Cultural 多样性 in Social Work, Journal of Sociology and Social Welfare, American Journal of Criminal Justice, Sociological Focus, and Sociological Spectrum. 自2006年以来,她 has served as 菠菜网lol正规平台’s 硅谷 Center Global Studies coordinator. 她 as Resident Director for the California State University International 项目 in Japan in 2012-2013.
